The controversial and long-delayed development blueprint needs to be voted through by all 10 town halls before going out to public consultation in early December.

However, he said himself and Stockport council leader Elise Wilson would work with opposition councillors ‘as much as we can’ and bring ‘revised proposals’ back to the table.
